Privacy Policy

MomentumX (“we”, “our”, “the app”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes what data we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Name — shown in the app and stored with your account.
• Date and time of birth — used to calculate your biorhythm cycles and your personal timing. Time of birth is optional.
• City — your city, and optionally your city of birth, used for local conditions and for more precise timing.
• Location — used, with your permission, to determine your city and to fetch local weather and atmospheric pressure data. Your coordinates are kept on your device and are not stored with your account; only the city name syncs to your account. Each time conditions are refreshed, the coordinates are passed through our weather service to the weather provider, and are not retained there by us.
• Calendar — with your permission, MomentumX reads your upcoming events to find times that do not clash with them, and writes rescheduled events to a separate calendar it creates called “MomentumX”. Your calendar is read on your device. We never write to your other calendars, and event titles and notes are never sent to our servers or to any third party.
• Email address — used for account authentication.
• Usage data — which screens you open and which features you use, so we can see what works and fix what does not. See Analytics and session replay below.

How we use your data

Your data is used solely to calculate your personal daily index and to deliver the features of the app. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data storage

Your profile data is stored securely using Supabase (supabase.com). Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Third-party services

• Apple In-App Purchases — subscription payments are handled by Apple.
• RevenueCat — manages subscription status. See revenuecat.com/privacy.
• Supabase — authentication and data storage. See supabase.com/privacy.
• Weather APIs — your location may be sent to a weather provider to retrieve local conditions. No personally identifiable information is included.
• Sentry — crash and error reporting, so we learn that the app broke and why. See sentry.io/privacy.
• PostHog — product analytics and session replay. See posthog.com/privacy.

Analytics and session replay

We record how the app is used so we can improve it: app launches, onboarding steps, screens opened, features used, and whether a subscription screen was shown. These events are tied to your account identifier, and they are not used for advertising. We do not sell them, and we do not use them to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

We also record anonymised replays of app sessions — the layout you saw and where you tapped. Text, input fields and images are masked before the recording leaves your device, so the content of your screens is not visible in a replay.

Analytics never receive your health data, the contents of your calendar, your coordinates, or the personal text the app generates for you.

Health data

MomentumX can optionally read your sleep data from Apple Health (read-only) to determine your chronotype. This data is processed entirely on your device, is never transmitted to our servers or any third party, and is deleted when you delete the app or disconnect sleep data in Profile.

Subscription data

When you purchase a subscription, Apple shares with us a transaction identifier and subscription status (active, expired, in trial). We do not receive your payment details, credit card information, or Apple ID. Subscription status is managed via RevenueCat to provide access to premium features.

Data retention

Your data is retained as long as your account exists. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at the email below.

Account deletion

You can delete your MomentumX account at any time from the Profile screen in the app. When you request account deletion:

• Your account enters a 30-day grace period during which you can cancel the deletion by logging back into the app.
• After 30 days, your account and all personal data associated with it are permanently deleted.
• If you have an active subscription, you must cancel it separately through Apple before deleting your account, as billing is managed by Apple.
• No personal data is retained after deletion. MomentumX does not operate in a regulated industry that requires data retention.

Children’s privacy

MomentumX is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
